Managing your loan

We've tried to make things easy for you to manage your loan, all the information is available online, ready for when you need it.

Question Answer

Can I view my loan online?

You can view your loan online via the online portal. Where you can view your balance, payment schedule and much more. You'll be able to register for the online portal as part of the loan application process and can set up the log in details at that point. Once your account has been securely set up you'll be able to log in with just your email address and password.

Can I see my recent repayments?

All your previous payments can be viewed by logging into the online portal and navigating to the 'My Loan' section. If you've just made a payment it may not be shown in the list straightaway, if you refresh your browser or log back in later, it should then appear. After 24 hours, if the payment still isn't showing up, please get in contact with us and we'll be happy to investigate it further.

How do I change my details?

We understand that people may move to a new house, get a new phone or their debit cards could expire, however it's important that the information we hold about you is up to date and accurate. If you need to update your personal details (address, telephone number, email address) or change your payment card, then please contact us and a member of our friendly team will be able to do this for you.

Can I pay my Dot Dot loan off early?

Yes, if you wish to pay your loan off early you can do so using the online portal. Simply log in, click the 'Make a Payment' tab and select 'Pay full balance'. This will then calculate the amount payable and you can proceed to pay off the full amount.

You can also contact us and we’ll let you know the outstanding balance on your loan and answer any questions you have.

You could be entitled to a rebate of interest; depending on how much you've paid so far and how much remains on your loan.

Making a payment

Repaying your loan is straightforward – we'll even take the payments automatically, giving you one less thing to worry about.

Question Answer

How do I make repayments?

Once your loan has been paid out, we'll collect the repayments from your nominated bank account on an agreed date, usually your pay day. This will be done via Direct Debit, saving you the hassle of having to make payments every month.

What should I do if I can't make a repayment?

If for any reason, you don't think you'll be able to make one of your repayments, please get in touch and let us know as soon as possible. We'll be happy to discuss your circumstances and the options you have available to help get you back on track.

You don't need to worry about any late or missed payment fees as we never charge them, however not making your repayments in full and on time could affect your credit score.

There are also a number of free, independent organisations which can provide you with free and impartial advice if you find yourself getting into financial difficulty: National Debtline, StepChange and Christians Against Poverty.

Can I make extra payments?

Yes, if you wish to make extra payments towards your loan you can do so using the online portal. Simply log in, click the 'Make a Payment' tab and select 'Pay full balance'. You’ll then be able to choose whether your payment should be applied to reduce either the amount of each future instalment or the amount of your final payment (which could also reduce the term of your agreement).

You can also contact us and we’ll let you know the outstanding balance on your loan and answer any questions you have.

You could be entitled to a rebate of interest; depending on how much you've paid so far and how much remains on your loan.

Please note we don't accept payment via credit card.

What should I do if my finances have been affected by coronavirus?

If you're unable to make your repayments due to coronavirus, please get in contact with us as soon as possible and we'll work with you to find a solution.

Additionally, you can access free and independent advice from the MoneyHelper.

Applying for another Dot Dot loan

If you've borrowed from us before and are in need of a further loan you can apply by logging in to your online account.

Question Answer

Am I eligible for another loan?

To check if you're eligible for an additional loan you can log in to your online account, you'll be able to find out if you've fully paid off your existing online loan and if you can apply for another. As part of our commitment to responsible lending we only allow customers to have one active Dot Dot loan at any time. All new loan applications are subject to a credit check, affordability assessment and how well you've repaid your previous loan.

How much can I borrow?

If you're an existing Dot Dot Loans customer and shown to be reliable with repayments then you may be eligible to borrow between £100 and £1000.

How do I apply for another Dot Dot loan?

If you wish to apply for a further online loan with Dot Dot, log in to your online portal account. To start your application, select the 'Eligibility' tab and then press apply now. Some of your details will already be pre-populated, check they are correct and continue with your application.

Please consider the cost of further borrowing, whether it is affordable (particularly if your circumstances change), and whether you will be able to maintain other debt repayments.

How many times can I take out a loan?

Please note that our products are not designed for continuous long-term usage. Therefore, as a responsible lender, Dot Dot Loans allow customers to take out 3 consecutive loans, subject to affordability.

Once you have reached this limit, you will not be able to obtain another loan until at least 6 months has passed.
