The big UFC event of the season is coming up with two of the titans returning to fight for the world title. October 7th is huge night for lightweight, with fans having waited for the event since August, with the big guns coming back out to fight for the world lightweight title.

Here at Dot Dot Loans, we’ve put together this quick guide. Here’s what you need to know to prep you for the UFC 229 McGregor v Nurmagomedov fight.

Taking place in glamorous Las Vegas Nevada, Irish UFC fighter Conor McGregor will take on the Russian fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov in a much-awaited clash.

What to look out for…

Early on Sunday morning (UK time), legend Conor McGregor will take on Khabib Nurmagomedov. The press conference in the run up to the big fight will whet the appetite for what is about to unfold as the two look to settle a score, that many believe, was an inevitable collision course.

When is the fight?

Starting at around 12pm UK time, it will be a middle of the night fight for UFC fans with the main fight due to take place around 3am, with ten fights in total taking place throughout the evening. Fans in the US will be able to watch the fight from 9.30pm US time.

Where is the fight?

Hosted at the T-Mobile arena in Las Vegas it will mark McGregor’s return to the octagon ring after his defeat to Floyd Mayweather in August 2017.

In the UK you’ll be able to watch the fight on BT sport and you’ll be able to stream it through the website.

There are currently no tickets left for the fight, with them selling out in just 3 hours when they went on sale in August.

It’s a huge night for the sport and here at Dot Dot Loans, we can’t wait to catch a piece of the action. If this is your first time to Vegas fights, we suggest an early night and an early alarm clock set for 3am, but if you’re just too excited, make sure you have plenty of supplies to power through until the end of the fight!
