Autumn/winter means a massive few months of game releases are coming up – just in time for Christmas and hibernating in those chilly months ahead. Let’s face it, nothing could be better than staying in gaming on some of the best new releases with your mates.

With this in mind, here at Dot Dot Loans, we’ve previewed all the best new games and put together a list of the top new releases you need to check out and add to your wish list.


After a sensational summer of football with the World Cup, it’s time to grab your boots ready for FIFA 19 - the demo is about to drop in September. The new edition will feature both the Champions and Europa Leagues, with the brand-new White Hart Lane stadium being added to the selection for all the Spurs fans.

With a whole host of new features, including the ability to adjust your team’s width and depth, there’s much greater control over everything from your defence to changing tactics, it’s set to be a game changer in the world of FIFA. Footie legends Ronaldo and Neymar will be the cover stars and we just can’t wait! Release date September 28th.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

The dream of becoming your very own Spartan hero is alive again, with the launch of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey coming up. Whether you want to sail the Aegean Sea, lead epic battles between Sparta and Athens or play in a world which changes and adapts upon your every decision – it’s definitely an exciting one not to be missed. Assassin’s Creed is a gaming highlight of the season, release date October 5th.

Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Leaving the old single-player campaign player style behind, the new Call of Duty Black Ops 4 game focuses on multiplayer activities. Get ready for fresh zombie experiences and trying out the new Battle Royale Mode for the ultimate adrenaline rush, all with a traditional Call of Duty twist. Release date October 12th.

There’s also the launch of Battlefield V and the new Super Mario game coming out with a whole host of new titles to be announced in the run up to Christmas. 2019 also looks set to be another amazing year for gaming if the highs of 2017 and 2018 have been anything to go by.

Whether you’re a PS4 fan or you prefer the Xbox or Nintendo, with all these new games coming out there’s something for everyone. Get your controllers at the ready; with all these new releases to go at, you’ll be so busy on your consoles you’ll be hard pushed to leave the house this winter!
